Students will study life and living organisms, including their structure, function, growth, evolution, distribution, identification and taxonomy. Students will be provided with the science skills that are necessary for informed decision making regarding scientific societal questions and to lay the foundation for skills necessary for science related technical careers. 40-minute class meets twice weekly

Chemistry will include instruction in the practice of science and engineering, allowing students to engage in problem solving, critical thinking, problem solving, and applied learning. Lab included in 3x a week 40-minute classes.

Students will develop communication, marketing, and publication skills. 40-minute class meets once weekly, but will require additional meeting times as publishing dates are approaching.

Students will study the Spanish language, vocabulary, and culture in twice per week conversational style classes. Students will participate in class discussions, complete projects, and practice written and spoken Spanish.

Creative students will enjoy this opportunity to write and perform together. Various skills will be honed while also 40-minute class meets once weekly
